When you walk into Sli Na Mara, you are greeted graciously and respectfully. The B&B and large room we stayed in was immaculate. Our three person party stayed in the triple room, at the top of the stairs, which looked as if it had been recently added or renovated, and our spacious en suite bathroom was located just outside the private landing across from our room, perhaps four steps away from the bedroom. Very quiet and private. We didn't have a "full Irish breakfast", although we could have, but opted instead for porridge, toast and coffee. Sli Na Mara is located between Galway and Salthill, easy walking distance to either. Bridie and George are lovely, very helpful and friendly. Would we stay here again You betcha!
The house and room were very clean and comfortable. The place is within easy walking distance of the bars and restaurants on Quay Street as well as the bay. Bridie was extremely helpful and friendly, even helping us make alternate arrangements for the bus to Aran Islands ferry. We very much enjoyed our stay and cannot recommend it highly enough!
Great place to stay in Galway. Within walking distance to city center and salthill in a quiet neighborhood. Host was wonderful and had great recommendations for the area. Overall awesome place to stay. Would stay here again.
